Our target audience would be 18-25 year olds. We chose this age range as they will enjoy the tense atmosphere of our film and may be able to relate to it in some way! If we had chosen an older range they may not understand or find it to violent and rude. They may also not understand some of the terminology as it may not have been used in there youth. If we had chosen a younger audience it would have been to tame and not fit our original ideas as we would have had to cut out some of the language and violence.
Music:
Our target market would also be interested in more urban music and brands for this reason we used 'Chris Webby Worm Up' in our opening scenes as our target audience would enjoy it much more and recognise it. If we had used music that is frequently played on the radio they may feel it is to generic and would think that it will be like every other crime drama
Tv:
Our target audience would be interested in show such as Top Boy on channel 4. Top boy is about a young boy who's mum is mental ill and is taken to hospital. he is then left on his own with temptations from drug dealers in his local area.
